NW Diamonds House league is based on girls having fun while also learning the fundamentals of the game.  There is one game a week and one practice a week, as well as an end of the season tournament.  The practice day is chosen by the coach.

 

At the end of the season House Tournament, we require that parents volunteer at the concession stands.  This is our only fundraiser for the House league.  It allows us to purchase new equipment and to keep our program fees down.  The tournament will be held at YAC Fields.

 

Teams are formed by age, and then by the school they attend.  NWD teams play a game schedule with surrounding communities' softball leagues at our fields and thiers.  Other participating communties include Anoka-Ramsey & Zimmerman.  Practices begin mid-May and games start the first week in June.

1.  What nights do the girls play games?

        Both 6U and 8U play games on either Monday or Wednesday nights.

 

2.  What nights are practices?

        Practice night is up to the coach of the team.

 

3.  How long does the season run?

        Practice starts Mid-May and games start the first week of June.  The end of the season tournament has yet to be determined.

 

 

In-House parents are required to put in 2 hours of volunteer time at the concession stand during the tournament.  Volunteer schedules will be given to the coach as the tournament gets closer.
